XYZ Building Project

We're rounding up Summer with completion of the XYZ on-site datacentre project in Manchester...

XYZ is an exciting architectural project offering a new state-of-the-art multi-purpose business space in the heart of Manchester's culture zone.

Orion was appointed to manufacture and install bespoke datacentre rack solutions, made up of over 20 racks, designed to fit in with the futuristic visuals and hi-tech facilities at the XYZ buidling.

The main objective of this project was to offer premium quality bespoke racks including hot aisle containment and sliding doors, whilst providing the highest level of security - hence, we supplied and installed electronic doors complete with radar system, which was one of the many additional custom features included in this datacentre.

This new concept of working environment demanded the latest technologies in design and engineering techniques available in order to fulfil the brief on this project and we believe we delivered the objectives set by the client for XYZ to their satisfaction.
