The Collection of Personal Data
The services available to you with Orion require us to collect personal data including (but not limited to) Name, Company Trading Name, Telephone Number, Address, Email Address and other basic information. Most of the information collected will be provided by you or created through your use of our products and services.
How We Use Your Personal Information
We will use your personal information mainly to provide you with products and services, to understand your needs as a customer, to improve our service offering and in the day to day running of our business.
On occasion, as a customer of ours we may send you important information regarding company updates. We will only do this on the basis of legitimate interest and/or out of necessity. Unless you tell us otherwise we will continue to contact you with information that we feel may be of interest to you or to provide you with information relevant to the operation and maintenance of your account.
Retention of Data
We do not keep your information for any longer than needed to allow adequate maintenance of the services offered to you by Orion. Where we hold personal information about you this is due to a pre-existing relationship between us and for the purpose of intercompany business.
Sharing Your Information Outside of Orion
We keep your information confidential and will not share this with any third party without your explicit authorisation (exceptions do apply for example due to court order or investigation by law enforcement agencies and regulators.)
Access to Your Data
At any time you may ask for details of the information we hold about you, if you would like this please submit a request detailing what you would like to know either by email or post. You also have the right to request that we amend/update any inaccuracies in the data that we hold about you or to have your informtaion deleted entirely.
Orion takes appropriate and necessary steps when gathering and storing your information to protect this from any accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or unauthorised access.
We may automatically collect information about you that is generic in nature and does not identify you as an individual. This information includes such things as the type of web browser you use, the computer operating system you run and the domain name of the website from which you linked. This information helps us to identify the way you use our website and to improve our systems.
With your authorisation, we may store some information on your computer's hard drive in the form of a 'cookie'.
