This website is operated by Orion Rack Cabinets. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Orion Rack Cabinets. Orion Rack Cabinets offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on Orion UK. Using this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Placing an order indicates your acceptance and the terms listed are subject to change at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

General

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods using this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

Accuracy of Product Information and the Description of Goods

Product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturer's, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of Orion UK is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. Orion UK cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. Actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual. Images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.

Orion can not accept liability for any errors arising from misgiven or misheard information for orders placed over the phone.

Payment and Price

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties. Prices may be subject to change if the price published for the goods is wrong. In all cases we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order.

Payment Methods

We accept credit and debit cards, Visa, MasterCard and American Express as forms of payment. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 14 days. Your order will only be processed once cleared funds have been properly received

Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Delivery Charges

Our packing and delivery for all floor standing cabinets is £50, wall cabinets over 15U and mini acoustic cabinets is £35, wall mount cabinets 15U and below is £15 and for accessories is £12 to UK mainland.
This excludes Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, FK, KA, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE).
All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at our checkout. Delivery prices quoted are for most UK Mainland addresses. Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, FK, KA, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) will incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation) and may also experience delivery delays. AM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. These can be obtained upon application. Standard deliveries are kerbside only. However, if you do require additional delivery services, we can provide them on request, at extra cost.
All of our deliveries for cabinets are Roadside Delivery only as standard and any further assistance required will need to be arranged in advance and may incur extra costs.

If a delivery can not be carried out for any reason this will be classed as a failed delivery and appropriate charges applied for redelivery and/or wasted time.

Deliveries outside of the UK are all shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) meaning that the buyer is responsible for customs clearance, duties and taxes.  

Delivery Times

Most items are delivered within 3-5 working days from the date of order. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated. On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

Risk

As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.

Please Note: Orion does not accept claims for consequential loss whether direct or indirect under any circumstances.

Product Guarantees - General

All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of Orion UK for a period of 12 months. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Products manufactured by Orion are under warranty against defects in design, material and workmanship for 1 year from the point of delivery or customer collection. Liability shall be limited to repairing or replacing, at our discretion, any defective product.

If Orion has delivered the original items, we will also arrange delivery of replacement goods. If original items were collected from our facility for onwards transit the buyer will also need to arrange for collection of the replacement/repaired items. Where goods are to be returned or replaced outside of the UK, the buyer will be responsible for any carriage costs incurred in the return or replacement of goods if so requested by the seller.

Certain items within the Orion product range are manufactured by a third party, where this is the case any warranty granted to Orion by the third party will be passed on to you as the buyer

Time Limitation for Notification of Claims

If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 7 days from delivery. It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 10 days from delivery. If we supplied you with a product other than ordered it is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 7 days from delivery. Orion UK will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 10 days from the expected delivery date.
If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 25% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to your credit card account

Order Cancellations:

Please note that orders cancelled before delivery will be subject to charges based on how far in the production cycle the product is.  Orders cancelled before they are placed on a production schedule (produced twice a day) will be refunded in full.  All orders processed and in production will incur a 25% restocking fee.

However, we do offer a swap-out service in the case that the customer has ordered the wrong size of cabinet.  Please call the sales office in this instance.

Please note:
Any goods, wanting to being returned, need to be within the 30 days returns period and  are accepted entirely at our discretion. If we agree to authorise a return, we will advise you of the associated costs involved which may include fees to cover initial outward and return carriage (£130) and where applicable a restocking fee (25%). These costs will be deducted from your credit once goods have been returned to us. For orders of cabinet accessories and wall cabinets you will be expected to arrange the delivery of the unwanted items back to us at your expense and risk. Returns cannot be accepted without prior authorisation and a returns authorisation number. The returns authorisation is valid for up to 14 days from date of delivery. Goods sent back without prior returns authorisation will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

Refunds: Refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and the refund authorised only after a full inspection of the goods by our Returns department to check for completeness and correct product return.

Cancelled orders or Goods received back complete as NEW and unused and in original box and packaging including all accessories and in re-sellable condition: You will be refunded the full invoice price less 25% Re-Stocking fee and less delivery cost.
Goods received back complete as NEW and unused and in original box and packaging but with accessories missing: You will be refunded the full invoice price less 25% Re-Stocking fee, less delivery cost and less price of accessories.

Our Speciality Cabinets Air-Conditioned, Co-Location, External, IP Rated, Acoustic Cabinets and Flat packed Cabinets are non-returnable as well as any bespoke cabinets that have been specially designed or have additions to the standard specification.

Flat packed cabinets are not to be returned or swapped if they have been assembled. Flat packed cabinets can be returned or swapped if all components are in the original packaging .

Goods must be returned 'AS SOLD' in the original packaging with all components and accessories.

Goods must be complete, unused, and in 'AS NEW' condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in any way) and must be re-packaged as received.
Goods must be returned to our Returns Department within 14 days from authorisation. We are unable to accept returns of unwanted and non-faulty items after the 14 days.
Any 'FREE GIFTS' with the products must also be returned.

Goods received back not in a re-sellable condition: We are unable to accept these back under the above terms and the goods will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to your account.

Do please note that returns are at management's discretion.

Other

You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We will issue you with an electronic invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.

Air-conditioned cabinets are factory tested and provided with an electrical terminal block. It is the customer's responsibility to have a qualified electrician to wire from the mains to this terminal block through the brush strip cable entry at the bottom of the cabinet.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure they purchase the correct cabinet. If you are unsure please call 0113 2320555 for assistance before ordering. We will always endeavour to keep our customers happy. However, we reserve the right to refuse returns at our discretion.

Please note that orders to be shipped internationally are non-returnable.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
