Our journey to designing a new website for Orion Rack Cabinets began with our Director's desire to innovate and grow. As a company, we firmly believe that when times change, so should we!
We are a leading UK server rack manufacturer and we, therefore, keep our design processes in line with the latest fabrication technologies at all times. With that in mind, we believe that our website should also reflect our appetite for growth and development. So here we are, embarking on the first leg of our Digital Transformation journey!
Initially, when we began looking into the redevelopment and migration of our website, we approached several website design agencies; however, we soon realised that we were not able to achieve the combination of style, user experience (UX) design and functionality we needed using an external agency. So, in accordance with the age-old adage, 'If you want something doing properly...do it yourself!', we decided to take on the challenge and designed our own website so we could ensure that we offer the very best online experience for our customers. After forming an internal digital task force utilising our existing in-house resources, we spent months of hard work (and a little help from our favourite web developer) to bring you our new Orion Rack Cabinets online store.
Our new ecommerce website offers a modern look and feel along with refined navigation, user flow and checkout process. We are very happy with our new design and online shopping experience and we hope you are too!
